Explain the action at the point of purchase

The shopper should not need to understand the technology behind a promotion to take part. At the participating store, explain what qualifies, where to begin and which evidence to keep. Use the same campaign name and message on signage, receipts and the digital page.

A QR code is an entry point, not an explanation. Place a short description beside it so people know what they are opening. Avoid making a shopper discover important eligibility conditions only after they have completed a form.

Show the journey before asking for effort

Describe the sequence in ordinary language: make a qualifying purchase, follow the campaign instructions, submit the required information and wait for the stated next step. The exact sequence must match the actual campaign rules.

Tell participants which documents or details they need before they start. If a receipt image must include the date, merchant and total, show clear guidance. The campaign technology page illustrates how purchase evidence connects to participation.

Make uncertainty understandable

Some submissions will need review. Explain that status without suggesting the shopper has already won or automatically qualified. Give the person a clear next action when information is incomplete, and distinguish receipt interpretation from eligibility checks.

The receipt intelligence guide explains why reading a document and applying campaign rules are different steps. The customer does not need that internal detail on every screen, but the team operating the campaign does.

Keep the physical and digital experience aligned

Test with a real store team before launch. Ask someone unfamiliar with the campaign to read the sign, open the page and describe what they would do next. Watch for terminology that makes sense internally but means little to a shopper.

Check the experience on a phone and with keyboard navigation. Labels should remain visible, errors should identify the field that needs attention, and an interrupted submission should not create a false success message. These are design goals to verify in the implemented campaign, not claims about every historical promotion.

Plan the ending as carefully as the entry

Explain where results will appear and how participants can find the relevant draw. The campaign archive brings published winners and draw information together. Clear results complete the promise made at the beginning.

An invitation to discover RaffleKlub can provide a next step where appropriate. Keep that invitation separate from campaign eligibility and any choice about personalisation. Read how to communicate draw results to carry the same clarity through the final stage.
